Any chance of implementing this feature in ASX? Has to do with visibility layers

Featured Replies

Well, I brought this up after installing ASX many months ago, and I guess there just wasn't much interest. So I'll try again! Here's what I'm asking for . . .I find the vis layers that show up when I load online weather with ASX to be sometimes very poorly done, which of course, is how FSX is displaying them. I would really like ASX to offer, in its configuration settings page, an option to for example, "Set minimum visibility layer should be X nm's. This way, if one wanted to eliminate the 10 and 20 mile vis layers that look . . . awful in mountainous regions for example, one could set this slider to 50nm. I do this manually almost every time up, but I'd love to not have to stop a flight and do it manually. How hard could that be? It's bad enough to me to where I often don't use online weather and just go with the canned weather, which of course is not nearly as interesting. I wonder if anyone else would enjoy this addition control? Thanks for responding, HiFi.
