August 30, 200817 yr Well, I brought this up after installing ASX many months ago, and I guess there just wasn't much interest. So I'll try again! Here's what I'm asking for . . .I find the vis layers that show up when I load online weather with ASX to be sometimes very poorly done, which of course, is how FSX is displaying them. I would really like ASX to offer, in its configuration settings page, an option to for example, "Set minimum visibility layer should be X nm's. This way, if one wanted to eliminate the 10 and 20 mile vis layers that look . . . awful in mountainous regions for example, one could set this slider to 50nm. I do this manually almost every time up, but I'd love to not have to stop a flight and do it manually. How hard could that be? It's bad enough to me to where I often don't use online weather and just go with the canned weather, which of course is not nearly as interesting. I wonder if anyone else would enjoy this addition control? Thanks for responding, HiFi. August 30, 200817 yr Hi Noel,You can already set the minimum visibility through the minimum visibility slider, and/or get rid of the layer all together by using X Graphics and Cirrus OVC #4 or #5.Would that work?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
