Dash 8-400Q Help!

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hey gang,I've downloaded Barry Blaisdell's Dash 8-400Q with updated flight dynamics, but I'm having a bit of a problem with it. Whenever I engage the altitude hold of the autopilot, the plane will climb like normal for about 5 seconds and then all of a sudden pitch up somewhere in the neighborhood of 50-60 degrees. After overshooting the dialed-in altitude by about 3,000 feet, it then nosedives about 50-60 degrees. All efforts to regain control of the bird are futile.Originally I had an add-on panel (Ian Grant's) and I decided to try switching out the panel, thinking that perhaps there were something wrong with the A/P gauge. So now I try the B1900 panel, and I get the same results.Has anyone had any success stories or problems like mine with this bird? Is it the 400Q, the whole Dash-8 line, or is it me? :-hmmm Thanks in advance,
