Flight1 DC9 engine gauges not animated in VC mode?

Recommended Posts

Hi,I got the Flight1 DC9 today, seems that the engine gauges while in VC mode are not animated (static). I applied the patch version 2. Is this the way it is, or just an install problem?I seem to see poorer frames in VC mode with external lights on for some reason....Very nice airplane. Thanks,Pat

Mine are also not annimated. I think they tried to only stick with the most needed guages. And just took them out to help along fps

Thanks.I' also seeing that the VC instruments are updating rather slowly; No matter what the frame rate is, it's updating ~1/sec.Hope they can offer a patch for this.Pat

Looks like mine updates rather slowly also. I do use VC's quite frequently and most instruments are readable on my 22" monitor. But these larger cockpits crammed full of instrumentation, switches, levers, etc; just seem to loose realism in the VC mode. Some smaller aircraft such as the SF260 are naturals for using the VC, IMO. Hi,Thanks for the reply.Agree, SF260 VC is great.Even for the DC8, using trackIR + 3D makes flying really nice. Now, I'd like to see if Jim or Tim could look into this matter. Flying IFR is difficult if the gauges lag too much.Pat
