FSUIPC TCAS range?

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,I noticed (under the "technical" tab I belive) that there is a setting limit TCAS range or something like that and it defaults to 40nm.Does this mean when I set it to 250 or something like that I'll be able to have TCAS even with my navigation display set at 240 on the PSS A320?i don't have time to test it right now,so I was wondering if anyone knows the answer/has triezd it yet?

I don't believe I can set the range higher than 40nmon my PSS 747-400. I don't think it supports higher.Peter Sydney Australia

HiThe Tcas range in FSUIPC relates to "Traffic look" which is a program that enables you to see traffic around you in a text format. The program comes within the fsuipc download. The exe file is a blue and yellow globe. It doesn't effect any other TCAS devices, as far I as I know.:-)Pete
