Hi. I have the same problem with a lot of FS2002 gauge files in FS2004. Do we need a fssound.dll in FS2004 for the default sounds? If we rename the fssound.dll and install the FS2002 one what will happen? Thanks, regards, Bob.

Hi Bob,to the best of my knowledge, there is no "FS2004" fssound.dll yet, so the one you already have is probably the FS2002 variety...If you rename it and replace it with another copy, it shouldn't do anything - the reason I say rename rather than delete, however, is that I would always recommend keeping a backup! :-hahJust removing the dll file will cause problems with any gauge that calls it, so don't just remove it unless you absolutely have to.Does that answer your questions?Ian P.:-halo
