Featuring United Air Lines ship NC16063 "City of San Francisco" and British European Airways ship G-AMNV "Sir Eric Geddes" ( for the former see 'Part 1' of this preview series ):Onwards with BEA G-AMNV:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea20.jpgTypical pax/cargo door configuration:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea24.jpgCrew is aboard wearing typical 1950's era airline uniforms (because of the reflective cockpit glass you have to take my word on that for the moment):http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea26.jpgTaxiing to the active:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea27.jpgClear for take-off in all kinds of seasons:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea42.jpgIf that ain't good ol' blighty down below:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea33.jpgYes,it is:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea34.jpgGear down and locked, full flaps, clear to land:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea38.jpgThanks to our FS Time Machine isn't it wonderfull to enjoy a sight like this again:http://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/civilDC-3s/bea45.jpgThis concludes the preview series of our new civil DC-3's which will be featured in the forthcoming GMax R4D/DC-3 package. That a high class flying machine, Jan. :D I can't wait to paint the Catalina Flying Boats C-47s that fly over my house every day.

Thanks guys! Chris, a repaint kit for our R4D/DC-3 models will be released and if you wait a while longer good chance there will be a config amongst the various DC-3 types which we plan to release as freeware additions that will suit the Catalina Flying Boats C-47 as close as possible.best regards,Jan

Thanks a ton! :D It's really nice being able to hear a DC-3 fly over. Those twin wasps really make a nice sound. :D And at night, it's even better because of the exhaust glow lighting up the aft part of the nacele.
