Scenery Library - Antarctic

Recommended Posts

In FS2002, Scenery Library - Areas List, this shows Antarctic as priority 114 and its enabled. The problem is that I can not select any airfields there or even see any land. I can only assume that its all melted or else I'm flying in white out conditions and just cann't see anything! Does anyone have any suggestions?

Don't know whether the scenery is modelled or not but there aren't any airfields in FS2002 further South than Chile.

Hey Andy, while it is true that there are no default airports in Antarctica, there are two great sceneries available for that continent. One "ANT02" by Ted Kessel and the other "ata2k_a" by Bill Freeborn will give you airports and stations all over that place. Airports may not solve your whiteout problem but they may enable you to see something through the "snow."Good luck!Bill :-roll

You might want to try two things: 1. Moving the priority up on the list. (also double check that it's properly pathed in flightsim.) 2. Try different methods of selecting the desired airports. I decided to put these airports into my Traffic files (using the mighty LC-130 of course) and think I've gotten myself into a huge project. It'll certainly be interesting.....
