Hi Guys,I have a question for the R4D guru here, do we know from the aircraft.cfg file the dry operating moment ?I found this line in the R4D aircraft.cfg : empty_weight_CG_position=-4.0,0.0,0.0does the -4.0 stand for meters, feet or an FS internal value ?I already asked this last december, unfortunatly to no avail, but I do need the answer so if anyone can do the trick ?Thank you in advance, francois

Hi Bill, that's right, it's 4 feet (i.e 48 inches).I am trying to play with my load adjuster and I would appreciate to know wether I 'm right or wrong:I found the R4D-6 basic weight to be 19.021 lbsI computed the arm for this basic weight to be 250 inches (since the GC is 4 feet behind the ref datum line and the pilots seats are 11 feet ahead of this ref line and the seats are 70 inches from the nose)so the basic moment should be 19.021*250/1000= 4.755and the basic index : 35 (as seen on the load adjuster)with the load of the R4D-6 on the MAAM start flight:2 pilots,Pax on rows 1 to 7, cargo in the front and the aft, 54 gallons of oil, 302 gallons of avgas I computed a 24.218 lbs of Gross Weight and used the slide rule to get an index of 41.6 and 22.8% of MAC at take off.Is this value (22.8% of MAC) realistic ?would it be possible to have real values from the #50819 and compare with FS values ?Thanks for your help,Best regards,Francois
