It's been a while... couple of DC-3 questions...

It's been a while since I flew the MAAM DC-3. However, I finally found some free time again and installed her anew (all updated). I'd forgotten how wonderful she is to fly. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous, too. :)1) I seem to have also forgotten much in the VC. I find that quite a number of things are *not* clickable in the VC (lights, et. al.). Am I missing something? I have the 4th Edition CD.2) I can do this on my own of course, with a trusty WWII Atlas, however... I was curious if someone has done any series of flightplans for visiting battlesites from WWII/WWI (like on the Eastern or Western Fronts, et. al.). I think something like that might be worthwhile for the Flightsim/Grognard afficionados in the audience. Maybe I'll put something together myself; but I was just wondering if anyone else had done such a thing already.Anyhow.. glad to be back in such a superior aircraft. Thanks again, MAAM-SIM.

OK, we haven't done it yet. There's stuff about, though. The lads over at the VA I fly with (DC-3 Airways, an absolute must for any DC-3 enthusiast) have certainly put together such plans, and flown them in formation too; D-Day, Arnhem, and less famous missions. Mark:Thanks for the reply and the "welcome back".I'm spending some time today with the DC-3 and C-47, doing some much-needed VFR/scenery watching over some select MegaScenery titles. I just finished going through the myriad wonderful repaints for both iterations of the DC-3; literally fantastic variety.Thanks for the pointers to DC3Airways as well as the WW2-oriented scenery. Incidentally, I found the Normandy beach scenery at AVSIM, but didn't find Arnhem (I did find a 'modern' version, Arnhem 2000 or something of the sort... was that the one you were talking about?).I've got a great Sunday plan for the C-47 as I fly "Over the Hump", a journey that will take me on a northern route from Imphal, directly over the Himalayas (a supply run for Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek's army... hehe... harrowing if the weather isn't good). I gave it a shot last night, but had to turn back since I had run severely off course.
