I love this bird...

Nice one, Tim.In my garage, I have a twelve year old Jaguar that I never tire of looking at, she's so pretty. It's the same for me with the Gooney; I could look at her all day. Hallo Mark,>>In my garage, I have a twelve year old Jaguar that I never tire of looking at, she's so pretty.I can fully understand you! :DSome companies have built dreams on four wheels! And no doubt Jaguar is one of these companies.Just remeber the legendary E-Type...May I ask which Jaguar do you own?:-) GreetingsTim

Mine is a simple XJ6, Tim, but I love the lines of the car. Very uncomplicated, low, sleek ... and comfortable. Even if it is like driving an armchair compared to the more precise engineering of a BMW. I've had a couple of those too though! The E-Type ... don't make me cry. I never owned one as a youngster (probably a good thing) but nearly bought one once. For a car that was designed in 1957, it still looks better than most things on the road today! I have to make do with a 1977 MGB for top down fun, but that's still a welcome addition to my New York stable! This was my last car in England before moving to the States:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/161037.jpgSo, what is it? :)MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a]

Hello Mark,>So, what is it?I think it's a Marcos Mantula. What a beautiful car! :) It must have been heavy to sell such a great car...The XJ6 is also a very nice looking car (and surely not simple ;))I like comfortable sedans too. It's a very relaxed way of driving. Currently I drive a '04 Audi A6 2,4 Multitronic.Greetings from GermanyTim

Sure is, Tim. Marcos Mantula Spyder, 1991. Before that, when I lived out in Hong Kong, I had a 1969 Marcos 3-Litre Coupe. They were both lovely cars. Yes, hard to sell. One day I will get another one over here in the U.S., but it's hard to justify when I have two young children! One day ...Hey, note I picked a shot of her that looked like your own great screenshot landscape! Look again ....MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a]

Hello Mark,>Hey, note I picked a shot of her that looked like your own great screenshot landscape! Look again ....Oh yes, you're right! They are really very similar. But I think your picture is better...it looks more realistic :D You've lived in Hong Kong? From all I have heard it must be a very interesting city! :-)GreetingsTim
