July 19, 200817 yr Thanks for your good efforts, Hartwig. You'll be pleased to know that you have motivated the team to come ashore from their luxury yachts and climb out of their Beverly Hills swimming pools for a day or two to generate an offical SP2/Acc mod for these two aircraft. Several external (SPOT view) issues will remain when the aircraft are used in FSX... this is to do with the changes in the FSX model/textures compilation, and is part of why we want to eventually rebuild the aircraft completely for FSX... but at least users will have the transparency effect i.e. view out from the VC, that they seek. You'll note that your own files remove any glass reflectivity completely; we'll refine that to give the windows reflective effect from the inside. But again, thanks for your inventiveness! We are pleased to note how well the B-25 flies in FSX, incidentally, considering that it was originally a FS2002 model. July 20, 200817 yr HartwigYour TBM fix-FSX doesn't work for me due to my fault or my system.Since there is no read me I installed the avenger to FSX and installed your panel cfg. After copied the the bitmaps to the textures of the diverend liveries, I found the following:The vc looks ok but the side windows have a heavy pilot reflection on both sides, the upper glass is milky. The Vor 1 OBS doesn't work looks frozen. The propeller is still a disk ,but not as without the propfix. The 2d cockpit has a black bar behind it and covers one third of the display. But above all,if I fly with the maam dc3 or the B-25 and I open the radio or overhead panel the computer freezes and I have total block, and have to reset the computer. What did I or went wrong? "schade"Regards Dick
July 21, 200817 yr Hi. I tried it in the TBM without ACC and it did not work. I don't see any prop at all. Is it only for the ACC version? Regards, Bob.
July 21, 200817 yr The fix has been checked and reworked.I ask you to download the fix again.http://www.hartwig-rohrbeck.de/Download/tbm_fsxacfix.zipIt is for the TBF and the TBM.It works for FSX SP2 and Acceleration pack.Let me know if you encounter a problem.thanks.Hartwig
July 21, 200817 yr Dick, panel.cfgI changed ..fsconvMAAM-Sim_TBM_panelpanel.cfglook for window00visible=0 was original visible=1//--------------------------------------------------------look for window01visible=1 was original visible=0Try to revert to the original numbers.I fly the VC only. It should display ok now if you update the fix.If the 2d panel displays a black bar grab the under edge and pull it down.Prop still a disk - yes I wanted to see something. If you install the file A_spinprop.bmp from the fix for the MAAM DC-3 http://fssupport.com/maam/dc3_fsxacfix.zip you will have a close to unvisible prop.VOR 1 OBS works in 2d and on my goflight GF-MCP but the knob in the VC seems to be a dummy. Maybe this can be fixed.Crash: I think your installation should be repeated. This kind of errors occur if the aircraft isn't installed from the CD. During installation change the path to FSX, copy the aircraft from the folder aircraft to ...simobjectairplanes and apply the patch(es) from the MAAM site and finally my fix.Let us know. Hopefully we can get rid of the "schade".CheersHartwig
October 5, 200817 yr Hartwig,Many thanks for taking the time to post these updates. I'm so happy to be able to fly Briefing Time in FSX Accel now. This will hold me over until the MAAMSIM team is able to do the full FSX version.Cheers,Rick
February 24, 200917 yr Since I didn't find a fix I created one for each of the two. You should not check the DX10 preview. It is for DX9.0. Copy the *.bmp files to each texture folder. Have fun. Hartwig http://www.hartwig-rohrbeck.de/Download/b25_fsxacfix.zip http://www.hartwig-rohrbeck.de/Download/tbm_fsxacfix.zip Hartwig - nice job. I thought I had lost my investment in B25J when I upgraded to FSX (MAAM - you listening?). Thank you for your contribution.Mike
