Problems with 707

Recommended Posts

Guest

I downloaded the Ron Freimuth/Paul Golding 707-320C that I'm running with FS2002Pro on XP. Flies great in every respect...BUT when it's on the ground, the wheels sink down so that the belly of the ship is sitting right on the ground! It's like the plane thinks the ground is six feet or so lower than it is. Grrrr...very frustrating. It doesn't give me a crash and, in fact, taxies just fine (with the exception of no landing lights on the wheels, naturally, because they're buried in the earth). Anyone know what might be wrong and if there's an easy fix? Thanks in advance :)

Sounds like the contact points are all messed up. you may need to adjust the static_cg_height as well. All these variables are located in your aircraft cfg. Look for the .1 (wheel) and adjust them. Don't touch the .2 numbers as they are for scrape points.Regards,Van LatendresseYeoDesigns Panel/FDE Designer
