March 2, 200521 yr hello there to all flight simmers. just want to know if anyone out there can help me with this problem i'm having with my CH Product usb flight yoke, usb rudder peddals, and the new throttle Quadrant. i have an AMD 2800, 120gig hd, 1gig mem, 256mb video card, and running Windows XP. the trouble i'm having is configuring everything to my liking. once i've done the calibration, and setting then go and assigning them to my liking. when i start a flight, my rudders don't work, only one stick on the throttle quadrant works. some switches that i have assign trims to does not work. and the list goes on. i've tried reconfiguring it three times and still not success. can any of you wise one help me? thank you much
March 2, 200521 yr Do you have any other game controllers, or other configurations within these controllers (such as rudder set to an axis that you never use)?I had a problem recently in Lock-On with my hardware, a Saitek X52. The throttle would default to 50% immediately after moving it so as I throttled up from, say, 90, it would jump to these values in succession: 90, 50, 91, 50, 92, 50 ... until ending with jumping to 50 when I stop moving the throttle. Could this sort of thing be what's happening to you in FS2004?The reason this was happening to me is that another game controller, a gamepad that I use for the occasional burst of less intellectual gaming, has a slider that is considered to be a throttle. As I never use it, it sits in the middle - at 50%. For some reason, LOMAC used it's value as the final one so the throttle jumped back. I fixed this by going into LOMACs controls and removing that setting (and all others) from the game pad. Since this, I always go into game settings and make sure game controller axis and buttons that I'm not using are unbound.
