Take a look back at the first post.So, obviously, yes I do have a new widescreen LCD that I very much love.The point is (and if you read the thread you'll see the discussion) that FS9 does not offer any different field of view for widescreen monitors. It does support widescreen resolutions, but it basically zooms the picture and cuts off the top and bottom.Widescreen monitors are wonderful for DVD viewing, several games (Half-Life 2 is gorgeous, for example) and for general Windows use. However, a lot of people here pretty much use their PC's almost exclusively for FS9, and I would say that there is no compelling reason to get a widescreen monitor *for FS9*. Hopefully FS10 will offer a wider field of view for widescreen resolutions.
