Problem with Download Manager and Avsim

I have been downloading from Avsim for a long time and I have just encountered a strange new problem. I have made no recent changes in my system. In the past, my download manager, DL Mage, would not work with Avsim using either Netscape or IE6, but it was not a major concern since downloads proceeded well without it. However, recently (last couple of weeks) the download manager started to come up when I requested a download with IE6. Yesterday I tried to download lake1.zip and all I got was an 8 KB file (should have been 600+). WinZip says it is not a valid archive, WinRAR will open it and display partial contents, but says: "encountered unexpected end of file!". I repeated two more attempts over two days with identical results so I tried some other files with similar results (in some cases I got MOST of the expected file size). Downloads from all other sites work just fine, only Avsim is effected. I then tried disabling DL Mage and I can download from Avsim without a problem. Apparently it is a NEW interaction between Avsim and DL Mage. Does anyone have any suggestions, other than remembering (a problem for my feeble OLD brain) to disable DL Mage before downloading from Avsim?Jack, aka "Taildragger"
