Hi,I haven't tried 41.80 to be honest but went straight for the 42.01s yesterday. I don't like experimenting with drivers but since I had a serious AA problem I thought i should try them. I didn't notice any performance increase, but at least the AA problem is now fixed plus they run quite stable.By the way between all the different ways that I have tried to upgrade my drivers, the best one for my WIN2K machine seems to be unzipping the contents of the download and using the update driver function without prior uninstall (at least concerning 40.XX and above).Take care,

jerrycwo4I have a one your old Falcon Northwest computer that came with XP Pro and the Vision Tek TI500(64mb)Video card with the 21.85 drivers. I was talking to their tech dept yesterday and the tech suggested that I update my one year (at least) old Video and Audio drivers. (Creative Sound Blaster Audigy). He helped me install the audio drivers ( after first deleting the present drivers) and then we installed the new video 41.09 drivers right over the top of the present video drivers. He said I should get a big boost in the vedio and the new audio driver should stop the, every once in awhile static, in the audio.I did a FPS ( frames per second) test on 6 differant airports ( like Ksfo, Kmsy, Kord etc) on which I had the info with the old video driver. I saw ALMOST NO differance at all in the FPS or the quality in the video picture. After reading a few threads here about the new video drivers, most not too good, I decided, "If it ant broke, don't fix it". I used my GOBACK program and 'deleted' the new 41.09 drivers and went back to my old 21.85 drivers. I left the new audio drivers on to see if they will fix the 'static' problem.I have Directx9.0 and XP SP1 installed on the computerjerry
