Both manufacturers are top notch, not sure about those models your mention, but I moved from an unreliable MSI mobo to Abit and the change was significant. Can recommend Abit thoroughly.D.

You should avoid ASUS boards with an onboard cooling fan, it is noisy and eventually breaks. Better get a model with passive cooling: A8N premium or the new A8R-mvp (ATI crossfire).-
