If your 5V rail was doing what MBM says its doing, then your system should have crashed mutiple times over the time period you were monitoring. I'd say MBM is giving you dud information. If your system is operating stable then ignore MBM and enjoy your flying!Gary

Look up that PSU on the web. Have never heard of the thing and I know there is a lot of scrap PSU out there. People generally only look the Wattage numbers and price when looking for a PSU so they can pretty much cram any crap they wish. Not saying this is it but never heard of that brand. Now it

Have a look at Enermax Liberty or Tagan EasyCon. I used to like Antec too...Regards,

I don't think it's a brandname problem. That PSU is made by Channel Well Technologies and they also make the PSU's for Antec. Extreme Overclocker has done a review and likes it. And Newegg has it priced right up there with Antec and Enermax (Enermax makes their own). As far as I can see it's a good quality supply. I'd check to be absolutely sure that MBM has the right model number for the motherboard. Even though the MBM numbers look funny, there can't be that much of a problem if the machine is still stable.Doug

It depends but if extremeoverclockers likes it it should be fine :). I am not a fan of Antec since I have had two none that lasted more then a year. They don

I, too, have avoided Antec and have always used Enermax. Nothing specific against Antec, it's just that Enermax makes their own PSU and I like that. I have two Enermax 430's that have been running very heavy loads for three years now and they are still working well. Voltages are still fine and the fans are as quiet as the day they were new. I'll have to go to something much heavier, however, for the new machine I'll bolt together at the end of the year. I've been able to slide by with these supplies as the video cards are older 9800 Pros. But with the newer cards (probably two of them) I think I'll finally have to to 500-600 watts.Doug

I am, admittedly, something of a PC Power & Cooling a really excited user, but that's not without good reason. I've used their p/s's for years in various setups and they are always rock solid. Sometimes louder than competing p/s but generally quiet does not equal performance. :) Besides, their p/s have been getting quieter in the last few years.I also like Seasonic, they are often good ps for the money. And what Doug posted above about Enermax is about the same as what I have heard about that brand of p/s: that they are pretty good too. But I have never built with one. I should do that sometime...Rhett

PC Power 510 here. The 510 is = to most 650's out there anyway. Considering the 1k when I switch from 7800 GTX to 7900 GTX. They are just Rock Solid though and yes, much quieter than before...-PaulLiquid CooledAMD 4000 San Diego2 Gigs Kingston Corsair XMS CL2Dual 7800 GTX 24 inch widescreen dual 19 inch LCDRaid-0psolksig.jpg
