June 9, 200619 yr Now this is starting to get pretty anoying my friendsI cant beleve that just last year EVERYTHING was working out just fine, I upgraded my Video card from a Nvidia Gforce4 to a ATI 9600 and every thing went cool...I even had like 5 more games that used heavy 3d graphics... and STILL my computer worked pretty good......Untill I had to have my computer fixed...They replaced my mother board with a new one and Instled Windows XP SP2... and I got a new memory card... (same memory 512 only difrent but better brand, no big deal right?)when It crashed to desktop It gave me the report of 3 files...C:Documents and Settings.............Application DataMicrosoftFS9fs9.CFG.txtC:Documents and Settings.........Application DataMicrosoftFS9dxdiag.xmlC:Documents and Settings..............Application DataMicrosoftFS9scenery.cfg"But now it crashes and restarts by it's selfAt first when it crashed I tought that it hapend because by changeing the motherboard I lost the CD instalation of the ATI Radeon VCard and of course the drivers I had instaled... so I proceeded to download the ATI Radeon Catalyst and the newest Drivers, I tried to instal the Catalyst and it asked me for the NET Framework, so I thought ok... "I'll download that tomorow... let me instal the driver first then"... so i did (I explain this cause i want to know if the order of components instaled is important or not)...To make this short, Now I have everything instaled and most of the times after 10 or 15 minutes flying the computer restarts... The reboot hapens not at a exact time... it is varied...Last week I showed the FS to a friend previously warned about the problem and as I was hopeing my computer to reboot... IT DIDNT!!! after 30 minutes of flight...By the way... My computer also Reboots when...ONE: When I move the slidebar in the 3D settings of the ATI Radeon Catalyst (there is this small 3D example playing in a window)TWO: When I launch Google Earth and I move the planet to see somethingI need help guys... any sugestions?still having faith...Josh
June 11, 200619 yr Hi Josh,It's my understanding that the .net framework has to be installed BEFORE ATI drivers/Catalyst Control Center.I suggest you visit this link on properly setting up your ATI card:http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_1.htmlBest regards,JimYoung
