August 17, 200619 yr I am having big problems trying to install a new EVGA 7600 GS PCIe card drivers in my Dell E510. It is to replace the ATI 600. The problem is when I go to install the drivers (autorun) from the CD supplied I click "install drivers". After wizard starts installing it then stops and I get the message " NIVDA setup program could not install any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will exit." ANyone know what it going on. Dell 510 P4 3.4GHZ, 1gram, 19" DVI was purchased in March 06 so I would expect it has the latest drivers. I did call EVGA and they said I need the latest motherboard drivers. I don't have a clue what MB I have and never heard of MB drivers.I have installed the A06 Bios. Also on the initial install XP could not find an appropriate driver for the 7600GS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,Carl Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________
August 17, 200619 yr Author Just to close this problem. Contacted Dell Chat and got the latest intel chipset drivers and installed. Unfortunatley this did not fix the problem. Called EVGA with little wait and the new support adviced me to download the latest driver instead of using the CD. Bottom line I downloaded the latest Nivda driver (91.33 beta) from their site. Bottom line it installed with no problems. I am up and running and now to hope and see some improvement in FS over the ATI 600. One question can someone recommended drivers to be used with FS9?Carl Carl PC AMD Ryzen R7-5700G (8-Core) processor), AMD Radeon RX 6600 Graphics 8GB/ 2TB HD + 500GB SSD, 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Win11 _____________________________________________________________________________________
August 18, 200619 yr You would think the CD drivers would be assured of working, but I think experience is that you should ignore CD drivers and download direct from the chip maker.scott s..
August 18, 200619 yr Interestingly for me with my X800XT AIW, the drivers on the CD are the ONLY ones that will allow all my multimedia functions to work correctly. Anything newer just plain don't work!Generally your observation is much more prevelant Scott.Gary 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
August 19, 200619 yr Author Scott,From past experience I have never had any problems using the CD that came with any of my past video cards. This was a very stange install and took a lot of time to finally get it resolved. The 91.33 betas have been working with no problem so far.
