September 3, 200619 yr Was wondering what sought of fps you're getting and on what spec' machine running the FSX demo or beta on a TH2Go setup...
September 4, 200619 yr I am running the TripleHead2Go in the FSX demo and beta. There is no frame rate loss using this. Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 4, 200619 yr Author Thanks for that, was looking at setting up a system based around the 6700 and GX2 myself. What sought of frames are you getting at 3840 x 1024 and at what slider settings? Thanks again.

September 6, 200619 yr Max settings (without bloom)sitting on the Juliana runway in the microlight with fair weather selected gives around 15 FPS but increases easily up to a constant locked 20 FPS when airborne and not looking at autogen. The resolution had no effect on the 7900GT 512 or 7900GTX. Maybe lesser cards would be affected more.Edit: Incidentally the core 2 duo has excellent overclock potential with quality memory Regards Howard H D Isaacs
September 6, 200619 yr Hi Howard (nice name ;-)It looks like we have pretty similar systems. Just wondering, what settings are you using in the nVidia control panel? Thanks,Howard Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 6, 200619 yr Hi HowardI am using 4xAA and application controlled Antisotropic filtering. Image setting is quality.I'd be interested to see what you get frames wise in the same situation. Alternatively I'll try your settings.I would guess you should get 20% better than me. Just going to try the latest drivers - the above is on 91.31. Regards Howard H D Isaacs
September 6, 200619 yr Hi Howard,The new 91.47 drivers did wonders for my system, especially in the FSX beta 3.I was lucky to get 15-20 fps with the 91.31 drivers. Now I easily get 40-60 fps with the 91.47 drivers, with a lot more of the detail turned up.Definitely install them.Howard Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 6, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the reply Howard. To the other Howard ;) (above), are those FPS whilst using the TH2Go?Hope so since my current planned build is using the same GX2,6700 combination. Do you think the 4GB RAM has any benefit over 2GB for your settings? Thanks both.
September 6, 200619 yr I'm not sure if I am the "right" Howard or not ;-)My indicated frame rates are with the TH2Go. It is the only way to fly. I do feel that the 4Gb of ram is definitely a plus. Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 6, 200619 yr Attached is a picture of my system. I would really like to see what yours' look like also. Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 6, 200619 yr That's correct. Actually, my setting is 3840x1024. (1280x3=3840) Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 7, 200619 yr Author Thanks Howard (yes, you were the right one). 40+fps at that resolution is excellent.I haven't got a picture because I haven't got the sytem yet - still spec'ing as said but currently have a 6700, 7950GX2 and at least 2GB RAM at the top of the list. Was still undecided on what monitors to go with.I see you have a triple monitor stand, which type is that? Ergotron? Thanks very much again.
