Featured Replies

What is the general opinion as to which video card is best for FSX?Thanks.Dewey

As far as I read here it doesn't exist yet. That would be a DX10 card.

a 4Mb Voodoo-II card on an ISA bus. Nothing else seems to improve frame rates in FSX according to everyone here. ;)

>a 4Mb Voodoo-II card on an ISA bus.ROFL! I actually have a Diamond Monster 3D II card in a box somewhere still... I actually owned basically every single 3dfx card - I had a Hercules Voodoo Rush, a Canopus Pure 3D Voodoo Graphics, the Monster 3D II, a Voodoo 3 3000, and a Voodoo 5 5500. The Voodoo II & 3 were among the best cards ever made IMO. The II was PCI by the way - ISA was waaaaay too slow for this stuff. ;)But yeah, as others said - do not buy a current DX9 video card, wait a few more months and get a DX10 one. My bet's on AMD/ATI this time for the crown.
