November 5, 200619 yr I am using a DELL 24" LCD as my primary monitor driven by an eVGA 7900 GTO card and DELL 20.1" LCD secondary monitor driven by the same card. The res on the former is 1920x1200 and on the latter is 1600x1200. Both LCDs are attached to the two DVI outlets from this card. I run only Flight Simulator 2004 on the PC and nothing else. The display of the sim on the 24" LCD is brilliantly light and bright but the image on the secondary monitor is noticeably less bright and is already at 100% "brightness" on the LCD control panel. Why is this and how can it be fixed, if it can be fixed? Thanks! November 5, 200619 yr I haven't got a second monitor at present but as far as I remember you can right click Properties then settings. You should see both monitors. Click on the monitor you want to adjust. Next click on Advanced and the content of those tabs applies to the monitor you have selected. Hopefully there is a gamma and brightness control there somewhere. If not, then I've forgotten......... Regards Howard H D Isaacs
November 5, 200619 yr Author OK, Howard, thanks. I don't think I've adjust the "gamma" of anything. The DELL folks suggested the same but I didn't know what they were talking about (!) Thanks for your more specific tips.JS Jonathan Sacks Dell XPS Gen 4, Pentium IV Northwood extreme 3.8Ghz, 3Ghz RAM, eVGA 7900 GTO, 12 GoFlight modules plus MCP-PRO AP and EFIS, GF pedestal, CH rudder pedals, CH throttle quadrant, 42" LG LED, 24" DELL LCD, Windows XP, FS2004, FSUIPC 3.96 FS Autostart 1.1 (Build 11), FS Navigator 4.6, UT, FE, GE, REX, PMDG, Level-D, PSS, etc.
November 5, 200619 yr I think you can also just select the second monitor adjustments in the Adjust Desktop Colur Settings under Display/Appearance on the Nvidia COntrol Panel. It looks like you can select the display you want to adjust and then adjust Gamma and brightness Regards Howard H D Isaacs
