Probs with 2nd monitor in FSX

Featured Replies

Hi guys.Having problems in FSX with my dual monitor setup.I'm running a GeForce 7800GT with two DVI monitors 17" and recent geforce drivers (not sure if there are more recent ones out yet)When I drag a panel over to the right hand monitor, for instnace the GPS or COM stack, the images flicker a lot and the colour is very patchy - making it very hard to see.I can use both monitors in normal use with no problems. Both are running at the same resolution, colour depth and frequency.Anyone have any ideas? Thanks,Owen.

Hello,Full screen mode or Windowed mode?In Full screen mode a lot depends on the installed driver.I only use Window mode and the XG drivers. If I use full screen on my "old" system I have the same kind of problem you have.

Suggestion:Disable your secondary monitor in display properties. Then enable it again and see what happens. (Check mark)Don't understand it, but this cleared up my problems. FSX seems to be confused as to which monitor is the primary or the secondary unless I do this.Hope this helps:RTH

In full screen mode. I have a feeling it is a driver problem, but they're pretty recent drivers (I'd say most recent, but haven't checked if there is anything newer).
