File Upload Dates

Recommended Posts

Guest John_Hirsch

Gentlemen -Something is amiss with the dates on the whatsnew page. The dates for files that are shown to be uploaded on 1-April are dated 2-April, those uploaded on 2-April are dated 3-April..., etc. There is no link for Sunday's files - the links go from Friday, to Saturday, then to Monday. This may be either a dating problem with the new system or a just a link problem.Thought you'd like to know about these things.BTW, I find the new system just grrrreeaaaatttt!John

This is due to the change to daylight-savings time which just happened. It's a one-off thing. :)--M

Matt, that just doesn't make sense. How does adding one hour for DST result in loosing an entire day's worth of files? I know that Sunday files are there, they can be found by looking at Saturday's. Likewise, Saturday's files are listed under Friday's, etc. Someplace a day's files are either missing or are they combined with another day's files.John

Trust me, it makes perfect sense. The day when you lose an hour is the only day where adding 86400 seconds to the previous day jumps a day.Until the week winds up... look at the dates on the files themselves as opposed to the header. Those are definitely correct.--M
