Select the file to upload, it should be a jpeg (and I think GIF is ok too but jpegs are more common here) Be sure to select the right type (Jpeg or Gif) and click the embed attachment check mark. Note: Images must meet AVSIM rules, no larger than 1024x768 and less than 150kbBTW, Do you get that (30FPS at JFK) with traffic, and what are your water settings?

Thanks

So I finally got the system and something doesn't seem right. Please help? This is the memory I have running at 800MHZ : http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memo..._2_dual_channeland this is the Motherboard they supplied me with: http://www.computeravenue.ca/product.php?t...&txtProdID=2715 that doesn't seem to support that speed of Memory. It appears I need to get the right Motherboard to support the 800mhz ram I have.Ken

Thanks Tom.Dialog box said the upload was ok.Don't know what the water settings are exactly.

Here are some more screens with the AMD Quad.Water at 1x.All other sliders more than 65%I have no complaints with the Quad. Like I say, I built it with K8L in mind.

does that include traffic? I haven't seen any in your shots. I run my system right now with a large though modified UT traffic file using World of AI and EvolveAi aircraft. I also have my water set to 2x low.

Thanks

Tom

Buck,Thanks for taking the time to take and put up some screen shots. I do note that your water is set about midway, which also helps my system greatly with FPS, although it gives the water that FS9 look (which ain't so bad really!).Gary

I noticed the waves were hitting all sides of Deer island at about the same time. Don't happen in real life. The lee side is usually at least semi calm, yet it's a big improvement.I suppose when FSX has been around as long as FS9 it will have some dynamite scenery add on apps. The latest driver for the 8800GTX is a big improvement over the first one I used, 97.44. I also notice at night you cannot see thhe water action that well, a moon lit night may be different. In any event, FSX is more a curiosity than a serious sim for me.When PMDG, Level-D, who IMHO have aircraft worth buying FSX will remain something to check out/fool around with. The good news from my understanding is that ACES opened up the API making it possible for the high end guy's to do stuff that was impossible before. We should in time, see remarkable improvement in aircraft functionality, sound and scenery. And a marked improvement in immersion.
