FSX on LCD TFT monitor...

Featured Replies

Hey all, it's my first post here, but let's get down to the bussiness...I m' using the beautifull SAMSUNG 931BW 19'' to view FSX, but when i go to the full screen, everything gets loooonger and all of the gauges (speedometer, altimeter, etc..) look like eggs...where can i find the option to make it look normal on this monitor and resolution (1440 x 900)?

In the Display section of your fsx.cfg file there is an entry called WideViewAspect. Try setting it to True and see if that makes a difference.Mike

On a widescreen monitor AND with 2D panels, you can either run it windowed and resize the window horizontally until oval becomes round OR run it full screen and resize the panels to achieve the same. In VC mode you will not have such an issue and the earlier suggestion of setting WideViewAspect to True makes the zoom settings all proportional.Gary

Thank you very much, I'll try to fix it, and if I'm not able, I'll come back here :) Adam
