The CPU speed is on the lite side, but for lower settings with the glider or a c172 it might just do.Try downloading the demo or if you have a friend with the full install DVD, you can install and run the full game for a limited time per session to decide if it's right for you. If it is just buy it and activate your install.Also, MS offers a 45 day return period in the US and Canada, at least they did last time I checked.So lots of ways to try FSX out, let us know... August 21, 200718 yr I run fsx(as well as fs9) on a hp dv 9000 laptop - t7200 2.0 core2duo, 2 gigs ram, 512 mb nvidia 7600, xp pro, 2 x 120 gig 5400 rpm hd, 1680x1050 screen. I run fsx fine. Your machine should be very good. Dave
