I need help with Liliput 8" LCD monitor... Please

Featured Replies

I bought a small 8" LCD touchscreen monitor on eBay primarily to display the RealityXP Garmin 530. I read on this forum a while back, a year or so ago, that other people were using this set up for that purpose. My video card, actually - cards, I have an SLI set up - are two Nvidia 8800GTS. My main monitor is a Dell 27".When I tried to plug the small monitor to the video card there's no picture. It gives me the message that there's "no RGB Synch", or something along those lines. The weird thing is that this monitor worked well on an older computer with a single Nvidia card (an GeForce 5900SE).Can someone please help me troubleshoot this problem? Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thanks.GianlucaI have attached a picture of the small monitor I'm using. The native resolution is 800x600.

Right click on your mouse, while on desktop ,click properties ,in display properties, click settings, check extend my windows desktop onto this monitor . You should see #1 #2 screens

To utilise the 2nd monitor you will need to take it out of SLi modeRegardsJim

Thanks Jim:Ouch. I was afraid that that might be the problem. Is there a way to work around this issue that you know of?Thanks again to you both for responding. I appreciate it.

I don't think there's any way around it. FSX performance isn't enhanced much by SLI from what I've read, if that makes you feel better about breaking the link...You'll have to post your impressions of how well the system works with the touch screen. I'm curious.Steve Gravley
