October 20, 200718 yr Author Just look down a couple of pages...or better. Lots of discussion on either the 22 inch, or my 24 inch Samsung. Most of the guys and gals here, have said that the 512 made no difference to performance at all. When you really think about it, 256 MB is really nothing these days as any significant amount of memoryMitch
October 20, 200718 yr yeah it's not the performance, it's the texture loading I want...I play games other than FSX too....so more gpu mem is better... | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 20, 200718 yr >Get onto this fast if it applies to you, and putting $57.00>(refund on the tax as well) back into your jeans matters...>I don't wear jeans, only little dresses with pink polka-dots on them.At any rate, I am still shopping around for a big LCD screen. I'm still a little concerned that if I got one, my system wouldn't drive it well (and I would get blurries). There's nothing wrong with my 9 year old Sony 17" trinitron, other than it being quite small and not quite as crisp as an LCD could be. But I know I am not seeing FS like i should be.Your Samsung 226BW (or is it 245?) screen is in the running, and so are some of the LG brand screens. This would be the first component of my new computer I will build next year.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
