You can use Windows Explorer to move your fs2002 folder from c: to d:. However, if you move it, especially under Win98/ME, it may not start because of the registry key in the Windows registry file. Also third party addon program use the registry key to locate fs2002.If you need to change the registry key, use REGEDIT. Select Start, Run, type REGEDIT, open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Software, Microsoft, Microsoft Games, Flight Simulator, 8.0. Change the EXE Path from c: to d:, exit REGEDIT.

In both Win98 or WinXP I have never had problems with the registry. After moving it to another disk or formatting the Windows disk (FS is on a seperate one). In both cases it works fine (without adding anything to the registry). But it is true that addon programs and some installers won't find the right folder from the start.Arno

Thanks for the answers. Just moved FS2002. It takes some work. 1 - Move files;2 - Change path on:a) registry (both FS2002 and addon, including install and uninstall info):( addon ini on C:windows c) addon cfg on FS2002 directory. d) addon ini on program directory.e) Links on start menu.It seems to work.Jos
