>>I doubt that. Has it happened before that a two year old>system has been able to run the latest FS version well? Well Iyes. FS2004 ran well on my (then) 2 year old (roughly) machine. It was in fact the same machine I'd purchased around the time FS2002 was released and upgraded a few months later with a new CPU and videocard.

not really increasingly hard. The relative prices between highend and midrange hardware have remained constant over the years, and the price of that hardware has dropped (you can now get a machine in the same area of the market for the same amount of money or less than you could say 10 years ago, despite inflation and rising specs). If it's harder to scrape that money together it's because of economic conditions, not the price of the hardware.

Lucky you. 7 years of leftist governments and being nice to Arabs have left us with gas costing $9 a gallon...So it seems you've done better.

Be lucky you don't live in Germany...At the moment DIESEL costs

that's weird, I live just across the border in the Netherlands and German gas prices are always lower than ours (or used to be, and reportedly still are)...Is Diesel really doing

>LOL, well, 7 years of bush and gas is now over 3.00/gal here>in Missouri....you tell me! ROFL>Bite thy tongue :) with thine political statements on an FS site!Anyway, I would not be blaming the burning bush for all of that anyway. Thank the other side for $3 gas, opposing new nuke plants for the last 30 years, for opposing domestic drilling, etc. etc.BTW it's $3.04 on the other side of Missouri from youRhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

I just wanted to correct what I wrote earlier today about the cost of Diesel here in Germany: the price I quoted (
