Went into a Sharper image today and saw they had everything on sale. I think they are not doing very well.I saw this seat that had the built in speakers. Youve seen them before and like the pad you lay on your seat, mostly a gimmick. Its not one of those lay on the floor c shaped game seats but a full swivel, raise and lower seat.I had read some good reviews and at 20% off and 60 day return, I bought it. I think it was about $230 after taxes and sale.I was not expecting much but I am AMAZED.If you have ever bought a cheap chair then you know how muddled the sound is. Voices from ATC and atis come through the bass and overall is a sound wreck. This setup actually works WELL and the immersion factor is really there.Your head rest has 2 speakers on each side and picks up all the highs. Some sounds I never heard before such as ratttles on take off. Voices are crisp and clear. The bass runs down your back and through the arm rest. There are controls at your finger tips for bass/volumn. I have alot of warbirds and let me tell ya, after cranking up the german 109 and the bass, Im sure I loosened up some fillings in my teeth. Dropping the gear and feeling that "THUMP" deep down in your gut will put a smile on your face. All it took to hook up was run a cord to my already existing headphone jack on my Logitech 5.1 system.I rarely do "reviews" but once in a while something actually works as advertised. You are bound to get carried away with it so if you can get away with sounding like there is a airplane running up in your house, I reccomend it.

Wow...Just what we all need..Sounds amazing......
