June 2, 200818 yr Funny thing just happened to me, when listing the AVSIM library for Nick Needham's "Nick's AI Jet Exhaust affects", to make sure there wasn't a more recent version in the library, when I came across "Nick's Sun Affects" and all his other affects files uploaded over the years, many of which I am very familair with and have used over the past couple of versions of FS.And, as I was looking at the sun affects jpg, I recalled NickN (of hardware fame in this forum, simviation, and GEX-forum) talking about his god-rays sun in a few other threads. Then someone must have hit me over the head, becuase it finally dawned on me that Nick Needham of the affects-files fame is NickN of our hardware-support fame.Well duh, it took me long enough, LOL... June 2, 200818 yr Author Hey Nick, sorry it took me sooo long to put two-and-two together. Geez, NASA too huh? Sounds like you've had a pretty long history in many diferrent parts of aviation. Guess we'll just have to start searching the web for pictures from before you became a "respectable citizen", LOL... Gotta be proof somewhere out there! ;) Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
June 2, 200818 yr I worked under a sub contractor, as most of us did. I was only serious when I had to be. We were overworked and underpaid and I was also desperately trying to complete my 2nd PhD at the time so caffeine and cigarettes was the diet of choice. We did not have things like red bull back then. BTW.. the above was a joke, but I did hear a rumor along those lines and back then those rumors were usually based in some fact..LOL Although we did pull some wild stunts to try and blow off steam they were always after hours and usually far from the labs

June 2, 200818 yr I remember olde AVSIMe. But barely. It seems like I went straight from Mike Marando's Flight Sim Uploads, to AVSIM.
