I am in the slow process of doing a FSDS2 DC6B and I'll use the 1% templates to get the FDE for it..........Jet airliners are not my cup of tea, i much prefer GA and classic/vintage aircraft of any type.

Hi Rick,Glad to hear that you are getting back on your feet - I'm looking forward to your flight plans!Just to let you and the others know, I have finished upgrading the AI Propliners using FSDS2, so they now feature animated props, gear, flaps, and wheels. Available at my site. Here's a pic:http://www.calclassic.com/pics/aiacft5.jpgEnjoy,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

I also agree that having older planes without FMCs is a refreshing change from the usual in flightsim. The Flight1 dc-9 really showed me how sloppy my manual landings were getting! With all the newer releases coming out, we have a nice variety of aircraft to choose from. Long range, short range, modern fmc, old steam gauges, etc.

Guest TWL1011

I would love to see the L1011 also as it is my favorite airliner too. Last December, tom_servo showed screenshots in the screenshot forum of his fsds2 L1011 that looked amazing - the shape was perfect. I do hope he is still working on that project cause it looked great and is an airplane that is overlooked in fs2002. If you read this, any updates on your work?Eric

Scott,I concur. After reading "Fate is the Hunter" by Ernest Ganns, I was totally not into jets for a while.Remove the VOR / HSI and just go with dead-reckoning and the ADF/NDB on a panel should bring us back.Regards,

Yes I agree, I am 62 and have flown on the Connie's and DC-6's and DC-7's, there is nothing like the sound of a big radial. I have all of the classics offered for FS2002 and enjoy flying them.Hocky, Texas Air Aces,Houston TX
