February 22, 200521 yr After about 1 hour of flying there is a lot of diskdrive activity with the screen display freezing andafter a few seconds resuming but with a jump to amoved location. After one of these pauses, sometimesthe aircraft goes out of control into a spin fromwhich there is no recovery.I've tried different virtual memory settings, cachesizes, and RAM recovery to no avail. Any ideas?Tom M
February 23, 200521 yr Using Windows XP. Since the time my message was posted,I discovered that the "most fragmented files" were reportedto be the W130n40 etc. which reflect the flying areawith the greatest problems. I defragged and am aboutto try it again. Thanks,Tom
February 23, 200521 yr After defragmentation, the flight from Vancouver to Port Henrystill resulted in an out of control crash, even after re-downloadingW130n30, 40, and 50.However, made a very successful flight with virtually noscreen hesitations (3 very minor ones, seemingly whenlocal weather was obtained) and a successful landing. My strong suspicion now is that there is a problem withthe scenery/terrain within w130n50.Tom
