Hello, I was wondering about a few things related to bump mapping. Can they be applied to any aircraft in FSX, how do I make one, and how do I apply one to a texture? If they can't be used with any aircraft, does anyone know if they can be used with the POSKY 747V4?

You need to use the Normal Map Filter, which you can download here: http://developer.nvidia.com/object/nv_texture_tools.htmlIt's all explained in the "Texturing Aircraft Models" section of the SDK, but in essence:* Convert the paint to grey scale* Invert it (i.e. so that black is white etc.)* Apply the normal filter* Copy the red channel to the alpha channel* Clear the red channel* Save as DDSYou can only do this with FSX "native" aircraft (i.e., ones that use DDS format textures), not with "compatible" FS9 aircraft. I don't fly heavies, so I have no idea about your POSKY, sorry.
