How do I zoom in and out gradually when in Spot Plane v

FS2002 Pro with MS SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick - has anybody figured out how to zoom in and out gradually while viewing an aircraft in Spot Plane view. At this point the only thing I know to do is use the + or - key which jumps me from one distance to another. I want to do it gradually.

Thanks here too, I didn't know that. I've always gone to the views menu and adjusted the distance to get exactly where I wanted to be. Cold, yes it's cold... I'm in Alabama and it's 10 degrees F (-12 C.) It ain't supposed to be that cold in Alabama. Supposed to go down to around 0 - 2 deg. F tonight. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Cold! Here in Ottawa it's supposed to reach a high of -13C today(that's not counting the windchill), and that's a big warm up from earlier in the week. On Tuesday the windchill was -40C. Interestingly, -40 Celsius is -40 Farenheit.Wherabouts in Nova Scotia are you Steve? I spent a year in the Annapolis Valley after university. Nova Scotia is my favorite province -- it's beautiful and spooky at the same time.See ya later,Greghttp://www3.sympatico.ca/gregory.moffatt/DHC-8_profile.jpg

Hi Greg,We retired from Toronto in 2001 and moved to the family farm in Guysborough County on Hwy 7 midway between Antigonish and Sherbrooke. I adore Nova Scotia, the friendly people and the slower tempo of life here. We spend all our working time renovating and gardening. My quiet time is spent flying mostly bush planes in Alaska and British Columbia. FS2k2 sure opened up a whole new world. Between that and AVSIM I spend many, many pleasant hours loafing around. Was sorry to see FlightSim go commercial but I guess there's a market out there for people who have the financial resources to indulge in that sort of thing. Retirement budgets require a little more restraint.Keep in touch,Steve.
