REPLACE DEFAULT FS2002 AI PLANES with others .. ?!?

Hi Guys, just wanted to know something...I find the amount of traffic which is already by default in fs2002 sufficient seeing the fact that project AI aircraft EAT my framerates like crazy...But the models of the default fs2002 aircraft are disappointing...so i want to replace the models with other models.the default 737 to the ai aardvark 737 and the default md90 into a 757-300 of fspainter ... but the question is how do i do that? Off course i want to keep the AI traffic plans and so on as it is but only change the models ... See ya

You'll need to get Lee Swordy's TTOOLS package so you can decompile and recompile your traffic.bgl files. This will produce an "aircraft.txt" file with lines in it that look like:AC#3,430,"Boeing 737-400"You will want to replace the "Boeing 737-400" with the exact title of the aircraft you want to use as found in the aircraft.cfg file for that aircraft. Then just recompile. It is that simple. I have TTOOLS in its own folder under FS2002. While the decompile and compile programs are DOS apps, all you have to do is double click on them to execute them.If you have further questions, post them in the TTOOLS forum here.-Basil

jerrycwo4 I find TTools too complex. I went with the EASY, My Traffic to get rid of the default AI and I am 100 % happy with My Traffic.jerry
