CLOE 747 PANEL

Recommended Posts

Guest

Hi,Has anyone downloaded the excellent Cloe 747 panel today from AVSIM?Excellent that is if one can get it to work properly. It keeps freezing FS2002. Has anyone been able to get it to work correctlyand if so how did you do it. Did you have to change anything. Onething I notice is that all the gauages are both archive and read me.Could that be right????Thanks for any helpYoursJohn

Seems to work OK for me ... so far. Suggest you email CLOE ... the address is in the README.I'm a little curious about this panel, so I'll be interested to know what answer you get. The bitmap is, essentially, Vanessa Leightower's from FS2000 with a changed autopilot; the overhead is someone else's too, I think, but I can't trace it offhand (I'm not that much of a pedant to actually search for it) and the gauges are definitely borrowed. For all that, there's not a single credit of other peoples' work given in the README.Strange that .... CLOE? Did you forget to include such, maybe?Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo2.jpg

Thanks for responding Mark. The trouble I`m getting is that when I try to go to the overheadI get the message `Soundlib - Fehler` followed by `Sound fileunguelig` Then the panel comes up for a couple of times before itfreezes the simulation altogether. Any idea what that sound file might be by any chance? The overheadis superb if it works, any idea who made it?ThanksJohn

John, this John also has the freeze problem with missing sounds and I too am looking for a solution. I also found two corrections to make in the panel.cfg file that you migh be interested in. There are two locations that should be edited by removing "BU Gauges". These are in the main panel, gauge66, and in the radio stack panel, gauge12. The gauges should be in your main gauge folder and the reference to a BU Gauges folder is unnecessary.

Hi JohnAny progress?? I have found that initially if I bring the overheadup from the `view/instrument panel menu` first it will not freeze, and, thereafter you can use the toggle. But you must do that everytime you go to the panel for another flight. If you find out anymore info do post me on this as I shal you.CheersJohn
