The color of Concorde registration marks

Recommended Posts

Guest ksabers

Just a quick question about repaints. The registration marks are always superimposed on the livery using the black color, and it's perfectly correct because 99% of fuselage is painted in white.But... if someone wants to do a repaint in a different color (i.e. the Pepsi blue), is there a way to have the registration marks painted in white?Giorgio (Ksabers)

The registration is part of the MDL, just like in the default aircraft. This means when you change the registration in FS then the outside model has that registration. Therefore to answer your question, no, there is no way.

Unless it has been specifically locked to the colour, there is a line that can change it...Under your {fltsim.xx} section, if you put the line...atc_id_color=0xffffffff...that will give you a white registration on the aircraft to go with your blue livery - provided you haven't been prevented from changing it.The number is an RGB hex code (ie 000000 will give you black, ffffff white, ff0000 red, 00ff00 green and 0000ff blue) - the only problem is that I can't remember which six of the "f"s in the code line are the RGB bit! Have a play and try. :-)Ian P.
