Concorde nose pitched way up during approach and landing

Recommended Posts

The nose is pitched up so high during approach (170 knots) and landing that the a/c tail scrapes leading to a crash. I've tried using the datum controls but this doesn't help after the glideslope is aquired. Any suggestions? Thanks, gber

1. Fuel management (to be not too heavy for approach --> the heavier you are on approach the higher the nose will be)2. Practice :-)3. Normal deck angle for approach varies between 10 and 14 degrees.Eugene SchneiderPSS FDE / Special FX
