I'm not to sure you should be blaming the software just yet Considering this is the First post about frames And I can get a steady 17-20 fps with Activesky and Squawkbox running at UK2000 HeathrowMy Specs are Below Maybe take a look at you config, might have to change some settingsBut compared to previous releases (Sorry Guys)This package is smooth right out if the Box

Hi Thilo !During the flight, I have about 14 FPS (FPS lock = 16) in the 2D panel view with the VC model (FS "fair weather", default scenery) with a system that is far below the recommended system sequirements:P3-850MHz, 512Mb RAM, GeForce3 64Mb, Asus P3BF, SB Live Platinium 5.1, USR 56K modemWinXP Pro FR SP2, DirectX 9.0c, Nvidia 61.77FS9.1 US, FSUIPC 3.411 reg, ActiveCamera 2004...But numbers can't say much without more details about your FS settings and your traffic or installed sceneries. Just try this guide, I hope it will help:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...&mesg_id=149511Best regards.Georges - IVAO Id 145418http://ggka.online.fr/ia/logos/iaslogo.gif ISO658F - http://isomba.airlines.online.fr/http://isomba.airlines.online.fr/pictures/uas.gif UAS104 (Staff) - http://www.uas-va.org/

Hi, I too experience bad frame rates, but can link it to memory usage. While flying, using the XP task manager performance tab shows 850-860Mb memory used. I only have the PSS reccommended memory of 512Mb in my machine, but folks with 1Gb should not have a problem. Unfortunately when switching to another (default) plane after Concorde, some 200Mb are used up doing nothing. This may well be FS or XP memory waste and not necessarily the Concorde itself. Best to reboot after flying Concorde (or any really complex aircraft).Cheers and thanks for a wonderful plane, I completed the tutorial flight to JFK, but had single digit frame rates on approach and landing.AMD Athlon XP2000+ 512Mb memory, 333Mhz FSB,120Gb IDE Hard disk,ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128Mb videoSB Live Sound Card (looking at installing KX drivers)Regards,Colin R. other things to look out for are your video card settingstoo much Filtering and Anti Alias settings can make a HUGE difference I have found it's best to set the card so it is application driven rather than forced
