How to try patch, but be able to uninstall it?

Recommended Posts

Guest lbb

I haven't tried the patch yet. After some personal tweaks I was mostly satisfied with the Concorde as it was, so I would like to know if it is possible to try the patch and yet be able to go back to the previous version. Also, I know it shouldn't be necessay because I can download from PSS, but I still would like to have a copy of this sim on a CD-ROM. How do I go about saving it? Are there many files scattered all over my hard-disk?Thank you,Leo Bakker

I would backup these files and call them 'original'AircraftPssConcorde2004PssConcordeGaugesPss-Concorde.gauEffectsfx_pss_con_asfalt.fxfx_pss_conc_vortex.fxfx_pss_conc_vortex1.fxfx_pss_concsmoke_AB14.fxfx_pss_concsmoke_AB23.fxfx_pss_startup.fxfx_pss_torch14.fxfx_pss_torch23.fxPSS_smokeyvl.fxPSS_smokeyvr.fxthen go to the Phoenix site, logon, go to 'my files'download and run the Concorde base installerthat will install the updated files, you can then go back to 'original' if you wishJohnPSS SUPPORTsupport@phoenix-simulation.co.ukhttp://www.avsim.com/pss/phoenix.jpg
