It has been a long time since I visited here.....I used to be here and Flightsim.com all day long from 95 through sometime in 2001, I then called it quits, got fed up.....The last projects I posted to the sites were the Jetstream 31 & 41 Panels. For myself, I did a few projects.I did a panel for a Ratheon Premier that came out pretty good.I did do a Scenery of Rochester NY and Airport that I never uploaded.I guess the scenery is what done me in and got me to just quit.I spent weeks placing all the buildings and roads to a Latitude and Longitude map of the city. I did finish it, tested it in F2002, and then quit.Enough of me crying........What have I missed? What is new?nick s "formally known as Nicksort"

Nick,Welcome back! So much has happened in the Flight Sim Community I wouldn't know where to begin. I am relatively new here at the Avsim forums, and like you at one time, I am here daily. I just can't seem to get enough news, tips and talk about all the projects and releases. I am sure a lot has happened since you were last here. The big thing that weighs heavy on my mind daily is the recent news and final post of Mr. Richard Harvey. You should remember Richard and his excellent work with the Fly Series. Richard is dying of cancer. He is indeed a very brave and wonderful person. See his post on the Fly Forum: http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...ewmode=threadedAgain, so much else has been going on in FS. So many developments, projects, releases and upcoming releases. Just to name a few: Flight1's Piper Meridian, Cessna 421C, DC-9 "Iron Knuckles, Dreamfleet's Piper Archer , Cardinal, Cessna 310 and 727. The excellent Fokker project. And these are just but a few of the aircraft developments. Scenery like the GeoRender Series and others are out of this world. There's much more and I could go on and on. But, others here can fill you in some more. BTW, all of the hard work you put into your scenery shouldn't go to waste. Share it with us if you will. Hope this helped bring you up to speed somewhat.Larry :-wavehttp://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75.gif

Nick,The landclass scenery for the entire USA available from the FSGenesis site has really transformed the look of the entire country, and added tons of detail. A tremendous step forward.John
