Parking brakes issue

Recommended Posts

Guest Gordius

Great product so no complaints but perhaps an observation. With engines at idle / at the gate and parking brakes on I have noticed that the Concorde edges forward veeery slowly. I have tried it with the josytick disabled so it's not the calibration. I am starting with all engines running. Any thought with regard to what I am doing wrong?Andrew BrownRoaring Thirtieshttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/192029.png

Stopped hapening. Weird. I didnt change anything except for the throttle sensivity which I had forgotten to set to default maybe that was it. Either way I thought / do think it's something I am doing doing and not the Conc. If it starts happening again and I see a reason I will post here.I have heard it said that when ill go to the Doctors and just while waiting to see him you will start to feel better. Maybe all that is needed is to post to "The Doctor" and Mr Conc starts behaving lol. Thanks for the reply.Andrew BrownRoaring Thirtieshttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/192029.png

Here is how to simulate what I have found. Load Concorde with, say 20% fuel (end of flight) and leave it at the gate with engines idle and nose about 10 feet from the terminal wall. It then slowly moves forward. Wait ten minutes and the nose will be buried in the terminal. Obviously I can turn the engines off but to do that properly might take more time than it takes for the nose to "bury" - just took 6 minutes for me.Andrew BrownACPChttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/192029.png
