I can't take the DING in the Concorde panel, how to remove?

Recommended Posts

I am painstakingly going through the tutorial to start up the Concorde and every 5 seconds I am hearing this eardrug-splitting DING noise inside the cockpit.I don't know what is causing this but PLEASE tell me how to get rid of it. I can't take it anymore.

Fritz,Click on the top of the centre column just above the compass on the main panel. This displays the lower part of the upper panel. Down in the bottom right you'll see Inhibit and Cancel butons. Cancel just stops the current warning but should any other unusual condition occur the ding will reoccur.Pressing Inhibit cancels the current and all future warnings.Hope you still have your sanity ;-)Cheers,

Thank you for your response sir. :-) About an hour before I read this I FINALLY figured out what that noise meant. I put 2-and-2 together and realized that buzzer was indicating that those lights were lighting up. And in the tutorial I remember reading about the inhibit thingy, blah blah. But thanks for confirming that for me! I am on my laptop right now. My desktop is engaged in a trans-atlantic flight in my new Concorde as we speak. :-)
