INS to further locations

I like the onboard INS very much. I do not know how to check further distances than the next immediate one, nor can I find that info anywhere in the manual. How can I check the distance from waypoint 3 to waypoint 5 for instnace? What if I am getting cross Atlantic clearance, and he is asking me for "next" and "next after that?" Finaly, how can I check the distance from where I am to the waypoint for the end of the flight?

You can do this quite easily. But until i get home and view the INS I cant tell you the exact steps, but basically you make as if you are going to tell the INS to fly from point 0 to point 9 or whatever point you want to measure to , only dont hit the button that enters it into the system. The display will tell you the distance and time to reach there...based on current speed of course.Then clear the display.Peter
