HDG and CRS problems

Ok,I have been having the same problem as others in the past...my HDG increases by 10, as does my CRS. If I have my Y/D off, the HDG goes in increments of one like it should, but CRS still goes up by 10! I have no registered version of FSUIPC, so the technical tab is not there. However, I was able to look in the .ini file for FSUIPC and the suggested following is already on: FixControlAccel=YesLastly, when I disengage Y/D it also disengages the A/P. Is there a way to prevent this?

Ok...is it possible to turn off the y/d without disengaging the a/p?Thanks!
