livery install for dash 300q

I bought the liveries for the pss dash 8 from pss, what I wanted was a livery for air canada or jazz colour for the 300q. I got all of the jazz colours for the dash-300 There are no air canada or jazz colours provided for the 300q . Can someone tell me if I can rewrite the .INF file to apply the jazz livery to the 300q aircraft.. it looks pretty easy but I could not get it to work. Hi,I would:(a) Copy the appropriate JAZZ texture sub folder to the Q directory(:( Copy the JAZZ [fltsim.x] section(s) of the 300 aircraft.cfg to the Q300 aircraft.cfg and adjust the .x numbers in a way that you have contiguous numbering.Normally this should work.RgdsReinhard

Hi:An even easier solution is to go to the PSS Dash 8 folder and open the 'aircraft.cfg' file. Under 'flightsim.0' (or whatever) you'll see 'title=PSS Dash 8 300 "Q" Rollout', and a bit further down 'texture=house'. Change to 'texture=jazzred' (or whichever colour you prefer) and you're there!Good luck,George[EGKA]

Hi:I downloaded the Air Southwest pss textures and put thwm into the folder and copied the writing into Aircraft.cfg, But it did not seem to work. Can anyone help?

Dale we're going to need a bit more information than that.FS9? FSX? What exactly did you copy over and did you "edit" any of the text etc? Can you paste the info you copied over to the config file along with the names of the other folders you placed too.D777

FS9. When i downloaded the textures i read the read-me file and where it said copy and paste the text below and change the x to the number, I done that. I put the texture folder and it did not work.
